Keyword Planner
Google's free tool for how many people search a term each month, and what a click costs.
Keyword Planner is the tool inside Google Ads that reports, for any term, the average monthly searches in a location and the range of bids other advertisers pay to appear at the top of the page. It has two modes: paste your own list and get its volume, or give it a landing page and let it suggest what people type. It needs no live campaign and costs nothing, which makes it the ten-minute check to run before the first rupee: if your keyword set totals a few dozen searches a month and the plain-language terms beside it total thousands, no bid, budget or ad copy will rescue the campaign. Volumes are averages and rounded; the ratio between two sets is what matters.
Connect Google Ads or Meta and every check runs on the data already in your account. Free for 14 days, no card — nothing changes without your click.
