Merchant Center feed

The product file Google Shopping reads: titles, prices, stock, images.

A Merchant Center feed is the list of your products — one row each, with title, description, price, availability, image and identifiers — that Google Merchant Center holds and Shopping campaigns read from. Google reviews every product against its policies and disapproves the ones that fail, with the reason listed per product: a missing identifier, a price that does not match the page, an image with text on it. Disapproved products cannot appear in ads, so paid clicks skip them entirely. The feed also goes stale: if it has not synced for days, the ads show prices and stock the store no longer has. A weekly look at the diagnostics tab is the whole check.

Connect Google Ads or Meta and every check runs on the data already in your account. Free for 14 days, no card — nothing changes without your click.
