Google Ads audit tools compared — Admiral vs Optmyzr vs Adzooma

Three tools, three different jobs. Optmyzr is the professional's toolkit, Adzooma is a free-to-start dashboard with suggestions, and Admiral prices every leak in rupees and turns the fix into one click with an undo. Which fits which buyer, read from each vendor's own page.

Search for “google ads audit tool” and you get three kinds of page: a vendor describing itself, a listicle written by someone who has opened none of the tools, and a forum thread from 2021. This is the fourth kind. We build one of the three tools below, we say so, and every claim about the other two was read off their own public page on a stated date — the ledgers at /compare/optmyzr and /compare/adzooma carry the dates and the links.

The short version: these are three different products for three different people, and the most useful thing this page can do is tell you which one you are.

Optmyzr: the professional’s toolkit

Optmyzr has been the PPC specialist’s workbench for over a decade — scripts, rule engines, bid experiments, and coverage across six platforms. If you run ads for a living, manage a dozen accounts, and want more levers than Google gives you, it is a good product and you should probably have it. Its audit is one tool among many rather than the point of the product, and its pricing is set for the buyer who bills clients in dollars.

Where it is the wrong fit: a business owner with one account who wants to know what is being wasted, in rupees, and does not want to learn a rule builder to find out.

Adzooma: the free look

Adzooma is where a lot of Indian small businesses start, because it costs nothing to connect an account and see a performance score with a list of “opportunities” under it. That is a fair place to begin. The limits show up after the first click: an opportunity is a suggestion without a rupee figure attached, applying it is a one-way door with no stated undo, and the score tells you the account is a 62 without telling you which ₹19,000 makes it not a 90.

Where it is the right fit: you want a free dashboard across Google, Microsoft and Meta and are happy to judge each suggestion yourself.

Admiral: the leak, priced, and the fix with a receipt

Admiral is built for the moment after the free look. It runs 26 named checks on every sync — search terms that never converted, Search Partners left on, a location set to interest instead of presence, a page view counted as a conversion, keywords bidding below the first page — and prices each finding from the account’s own history. Each one arrives as a proposal; nothing changes until you click; every change is a receipt with the undo stored before the change runs. It covers Google and Meta only, in 11 Indian languages, and if you would rather not do any of it yourself, we run the account inside the same approval queue from ₹12,999 a month.

Where it is the wrong fit: you run Microsoft or Amazon ads, or you want a script editor. It has neither.

The others you will see mentioned

Opteo is the closest to Admiral in spirit — a Google-only suggestions product, well made, priced from $129 a month; the ledger is at /compare/opteo. AgencyAnalytics is not an audit tool at all — it is a client-reporting dashboard across 85+ sources that changes nothing — and an agency can sensibly run it beside any of the three above; /compare/agencyanalytics. Google’s own “Recommendations” tab is free and worth reading once, with the caveat that it optimises for Google.

How to choose in one minute

Whichever you pick, run the free audit here first. It costs nothing, needs no card, and the finding list is yours to take to any of the other tools.

Connect an account read-only and Admiral runs all 26 checks on your own 90 days before you pay anything. If Optmyzr or Adzooma is the better fit for you, the finding list still is.
